At 47 Degrees Coffee we are impassioned with the whole process of delivering coffee to our customers, diligently chasing the ultimate cup of perfection. From our carefully chosen farmers, who nurture the beans, the selection masters who source the perfect crop and the specialists who transform the fruit to bean.
Then it’s over to us, the roasters. Who expertly roast the carefully selected beans which we present to you, our coffee drinkers.
Our roasting process has been perfected through a considerable amount of quality testing, tasting and development. As a small batch coffee roaster we strive to produce coffee that our customers will love.
The Bean Belt
The journey starts in the Bean Belt, the horizontal strip stretching 23.5° north of the equator (to the Tropic of Cancer) and 23.5° south of the equator (to the Tropic of Capricorn). This 47° belt that wraps around the globe is not only where we derive our name, but where the coffee story began and continues to evolve.
The coffee beans that we source for our roasting process comes from some of the finest coffee bean farmers from around the world. Without fantastic beans we wouldn’t be able to produce our top quality roasted beans.
Small But Perfectly Formed
From our base in the Heart of Derbyshire, we produce perfectly roasted beans from our small batch coffee roaster on a weekly basis. So as not to overstretch our production, we carefully choose a few select coffees with a broad range of flavours when they are at their peak and carefully roast them to extract the very best the beans have to offer.
