We know what some of our coffee drinking friends think when we mention the words decaf and coffee in the same sentence and to be fair, decaf drinkers do have to put up with some very pedestrian like coffee.

When we set out to put on a decaf option on our menu, the brief was simple:

Source and roast a decaffeinated coffee that would be able to stand up tall against its caffeinated brethren.

We can confirm that this stunning Mexican Decaf does just that. It really does break the mould of substandard offerings decaf drinkers have been forced to put up with.

We serve this coffee through the espresso machine at the roastery for our guests, withholding the fact it was a decaf!

The feedback was fantastic, when we asked them to let us know what they thought of it.

This fully traceable single estate decaf is washed in fresh mountain water to remove the caffeine.

What to expect:

A pleasant mix of chocolate and lemon that has a sweet/spicy flavour with a bright acidity and clean after taste.
